Overall, a wonderful trip! We love sea days and getting the opportunity to visit Norway was our main reason for traveling. This cruise fulfilled all of that for us.

We had a very nice time, last cruise of our season also. We will start up again in a few months. Have been on close to 30 cruises. Will continue as long as we can..love the ships, the ocean and the diversification of people on board.

Daily activities were very limited on board-rock band was just screaming-blues/jazz club band was great

had some missteps with booking agent. wonder why we received no choices of packages, no suggestions for excursions, etc. Perhaps our travel companion who asked for two cabins next to each other discouraged the agent, but not having full explanations of the cabin locations or onboard packages really was disappointing. We also were not sure who exactly our agent was. Aside from booking snafus, the cruise overall was very enjoyable and ship was gorgeous and comfortable, the staff friendly and ready to serve.

The ship was amazing and so clean. The food was great. The staff exceeded my expectations. Everyone was very polite and helpful.

a wonderful first week, the second one was overall too noisy.

I would love to share some photos that the cruise ship took, but too expensive. They offered to do a Black & White photo session, which we did...only to find out it was $450.00 per 8 X 10 print!! Are they crazy or do they think we are?? Outrageous and the disappointing things is I would have bought 5-7 photos is they were reasonably priced. What a rip !! very disappointing.

A very relaxing week on an elegant new ship with exquisite entertainment and delicious meals and snacks.

Loved the ship with new and modern features. Would do this cruise again in a heartbeat, just would choose different cabin location.

The Nieuw Statendam is a GREAT ship. Holland America is our cruise line of choice and recommend it to everyone.

Beautiful Ship! Wonderful Crew, Great Food! It was Spring Break, so had quite a Few Families, which added to the Fun! Very Relaxing, and we Enjoyed the Music walk at night!

Staid, elderly cruisers, good food & service, not much eye candy!

We really enjoyed the ship. It is only 3 months old. The crew reminded us that it was designed from feedback from customers.
