Review summary

This is a smaller ship, but was of excellent quality. Overall great cruise. If there was a weakness, it was the entertainment and the shore excursions, most of which seemed to be riding in bus. Not much choice for excursions, but we were able to walk right off the ship and explore each port. We had a good time doing that and there was plenty of time in each port. I would definitely recommend this cruise and Holland America line.

All the food was excellent, especially the dining room. Lots of choices.

Onboard Activities

Pools were very nice, great fitness center. Spa was the best I have been in on any cruise line. The spa had a thermal suite with Roman type bath that was fabulous.

Entertainment

Entertainment was good. Had a comedian and a magician that both put on great shows, but no Broadway type show.

We did not have kids with us.

All the service was excellent, particularly our dining staff and room steward.
