As always on Holland America it is a relaxing cruise, we never got off the ship as we have been to the ports many times and really enjoy the ship when most of the people are off.

Shh813....seems like we always connect when anyone talks about Nieuw Amsterdam. We too had the most fabulous experience when sailing on her. Everything was top notch. blanks1057....so glad you enjoyed it too. She is a great ship.

Went on Nieuw Amsterdam last March. It was fantastic. Not a lot to do on ship during the day but that's what the ports are for. Fabulous food. Fantastic crew. Always smiling and friendly. Loved it
