Review summary

We had a reasonably good time, but I would not cruise this ship or itinerary again for sure.

Embarkation

Very smooth and painless

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food was mediocre at best. The one specialty dining we did was the seafood restaurant Hooked. The food was good but the service was slow and they seemed a bit unorganized. Most likely due to staff shortages. It was a bit of a disappointment after dining in far superior specialty restaurants on other lines.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We did not do many activities but there were a lot of things to do so no complaints there.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Shows were fair but nothing like they used to be like.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff were all friendly and helpful on our cruise but some of them looked exhausted and overworked.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
For a 22 year old ship, she looked amazingly well although a bit outdated and tired looking

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The room was clean but having no USB plugs was a huge negative. The room also looked a bit tired but for the ships age, it was acceptable.

Ship tip

Don't expect too much in the way of food and entertainment. Regardless, a cruise is what you make of it and you will have a good time.

Disembarkation

we had a 9:30am flight and we made it to the airport in plenty of time. We only had carryon so I would not advise such an early flight if you have luggage.

Totally agree that Hooked is the best specialty restaurant on Navigator!
