Excellent Holiday Cruise
Navigator of the Seas Cruise Review to Caribbean - Western
Ship: Navigator of the Seas
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Family (older children)
Reviewed: 5 years ago
Clean; Great customer service - food in the dining room at night was excellent - we didn't really see a need to even try the specialty restaurants - variety and service!
Excusions were great and they accommodated the fact that we changed our mind the night before we docked in Jamaica
Sports deck great
Buffet food was so-so;
Tipping at the end - thought this was more of an all inclusive - but recommended another $500 in tips - felt pressure;
LIne up at Customer Service almost always;
Wish the Casino was no smoking - got smoky late at night; Spa services expensive; 15% Tip added to all alcohol - would have liked a weekly drink pass rather than daily since some days we were on the ship and others off.
Even though RCI says no saving deck chairs - everyone was doing it.
Food and Dining
Service and Staff
Cabin / Stateroom
Pros: Dining Room food; lots of chairs
Cons: 15% tip automatic on all alcohol - even if you went up the bar. Seemed excessive considering price of cruise. Would have liked a weekly drink package - only offered daily.
