Review summary

Entertainment left a lot to be desired.  Food was okay.  Sevice was very good.  Stateroom people were great and stateroom was great!  We have sailed on other ships--Royal Caribbean in years past has had Las Vegas style entertainment--only one show on this cruise.  Many times before and after dinner there was nothing going on--we were quite surprised.  As one passenger put it,  there should be constant music everywhere on the ship.  The Crown Lounge was a total waste of space--the bartenders were more interested in visiting with each other than waiting on people.  It is a beautiful place but--NOTHING-- We were very shocked.  Others were also surprised to finally find it and only the first night did they have a High Rollers get-together and others were excluded.  No music --just visiting --bartenders seemed very happy--easiest job on the ship!

Food was good but not great--

Onboard Activities

Very little music in lounges--what there is could be better.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Ice show good, Motown great--otherwise might to recruit from The Voice or America's Got Talent.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Except for Crown Lounge

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Particularly when spent $85 million five months before--part of pool area smelled when walked through to Windjammer.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was always clean and neat. The steward was great. We had plenty of room

Ship tip

My Time Dining reservations got lost and we had to take what was lost. We were seated in the walkway --everyone passed us--servers and passengers. We had asked to be seated with others---that's the fun making new friends at dinner. We felt as it we were imposing on the people below us.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas
