Review summary

My family and I have cruised on board the Navigator in 2005 and was disappointed to see the negative changes...pls see below. Overall ship appears ok but, worn out and tired. Badly in need of refurbishing. Some areas of the ship's hallways and pucture frames are banged up. Deck 6 hallway smells of mildew or something foul. The carpets are faded and stained. 1st night's dinner in the dining room was below average: the salmon, in several occasions was over cooked and dry. The creme brûlée at multiple times looked like the sugar on top was just hurriedly dumped in the middle and was caramelized! On another note, both specialty restaurants food and wait staff were excellent! All staff members we've been un contact with were wonderful, warm and professional. Many areas of the ship showed sime neglect. Specifically the Desk/phone stand by the Nutcracker does not look like it's been dusted or polished in awhile! Likewise the Internet cafe was sub-standard from the stations being sticky and dusty to the very expensive fees for a snail's pace connection/speed. It took 15mins to send ONE email message! Lastly, sodas and specialty coffees are extra charges! Gone are the days when cruising was all inclusive!

Chops and Portofino, specialty dining were by far the best. However, I feel the quality of the meals should be the same as in the dining rooms. The cruise price should be all inclusive of meals, activities, and non-alcoholic beverages.
