Navigator of The Seas Family Cruise 2/23/13

Sail Date: February 23, 2013

Reviewed: 3 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Balcony

Very good experience over all. I would certainly recommend this cruise to everyone, alhough I have to say that the ship is starting to show signs of its age. Good food... and we are restaurant owners and very discriminating eaters, good shows... and there was a real Orchestra, and enough space for adults only in the Solarium pool. The excursions were fantastic, with the only exception of Cozumel that we will certainly not visit again. It didn't look and feel safe and the people were extremely pushy towards the turists. Jamaica and Grand Cayman were fantastc. We will definitely cruise RC again, but this time we will choose either a newer ship or a ship that has just been re-juvinated. Finally the service, from the dining room, to the buffet, to the stateroom, to the bars and snack areas... you can't fnd any better. Gracious, respectful and happy people. How do they do that????
Ship Quality
Good but showing signs of aging.
Food and Dining
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Excellent Excellent. Excellent.
Entertainment
Onboard Activities
Destinations and Excursions
Please do something about Cozumel. When you tell your customers that it isn't safe you have already taken the fun out of it. You might as weel take it off the list.
New Orleans, Louisiana
New Orleans is fun but the stretch from NO till the second day of navigation, and the last day of navigation were pretty bad because of the weather.
Falmouth, Jamaica
George Town, Grand Cayman
Incredible. Couldn't RC stay overnight and add some other excursions?
Cozumel, Mexico
remove this stop. If it is dangerous is not worth the risk.

Tip

Try exploring ever angle of it. It is a beautiful ship and it is worth checking every single spot.
