Advertised open "24 hour" hot tub and pools were not always open at night. On our 12-day cruise it was closed about 5 nights we went by.

Service and Staff

Dining room staff and stateroom staff were excellent. They always tried to go above and beyond.

Ports of call

Alexandria (Cairo), Egypt

Tour the pyramids but that is about it. Don't eat the food or water. Police escorts everywhere! Nile river is DIRTY!! Trash everywhere in the canals and even a dead horse.

Kusadasi (Ephesus), Turkey

My favorite stop! A lot of places to shop. Another good place for souvenirs.
Don't Miss: Tour the rug making school. Very interesting

Piraeus (Athens), Greece

Not as pretty as I thought it would be. Dirty atmosphere.
Don't Miss: Corinth is much nicer- Loved the Canal cruise

Rhodes, Greece

This is my husbands favorite stop
Don't Miss: Try the oozo- licorice type wine...taste like black licorice

Messina, Sicily

5 out of 5
Not enough time at this port. There is a lot of pretty areas. Not much "tourist" shopping.

Naples, Italy

5 out of 5
lots of pick-pocket people, locals kept trying to sell items on street. Good place to buy souvenirs
Don't Miss: Try the local pizza and wine.

Pros: The service was excellent

Cons: Egypt was probably the dirtiest stop- I would not ever want to go back there!
