A Much Needed Vacation

Sail Date: April 01, 2008

We thought the ship was in great shape for its age. Our stateroom attendant was excellent and went out of her way to make everything perfect. The room service always came on time, especially the morning coffee and danish. The dining room waiter and assistant were old and never got the order correct. When they were told they had messed up, they acted like it was our fault. We didn't enjoy the dining room at all. We had no problem with embarkment or disembarkment. The express disembarkment is worth every penny. This was our 11th cruise with RCCL and the first time we used the express and will always go this way. Pay the extra money for a porter and let him go through customs. Also, we make our own travel plans and found its much cheaper and easier than with the cruise line. Its no problem finding a taxi to the ports and they are given the exact charge, so there's no hassel with price. Its the same going back to the airport.

Pros: The crew was very polite this cruise.

Cons: The waiter and his assistant should have retired before we boarded.
