Unbelievable Cruise!

Sail Date: February 21, 2008

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/young children

Room Type: Suite

The ship was magnificent! The cabins although small, are very efficient. Staff was friendly and very accomodating! The ship never felt crowded. There were plenty of deck chairs, which was not the case with the ship we went on last year (also Royal Carib. but smaller) Great trip for families. Lots of activities for the kids. Would highly reccomend this cruise to anyone!

Pros: The size and condition of the ship. Very clean, never felt crowded, although it was sold out! Plenty to do for everyone from ice skating, to shopping, gambling, sunning, swimming and rock climbing!

Cons: Food and service not as good as some of the smaller ships.

Recommends Navigator of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
Very clean and spacious. Lots od dining options. Portofino was excellent. There are a few specialty restaurants, Jade, Portofino and Chops. Also Johnny Rockets and Ben and Jerrys. The Seattle's Best Coffee was great too! Beautiful shopping area on the promenade deck with a great wine bar and Irish pub! Our kids cabin overlooked this deck and we watched the Mardi Gras parade from their window the last night of the cruise.
Food and Dining
Food was really good, but not as good as on the Enchantment. Service was good. We noticed several empty tables in the dining room. Not sure if this was due to people eating at other venues.
Cabin / Stateroom
We had a balcony cabin. If it's in your budget, I highly recommend it! Worth the $!
Service and Staff
Entertainment
Great variety of shows. From comedy to Karoke, and ice skating shows, there are many options
Cozumel, Mexico
Great beach day and snorkeling was fantastic!
