Our cruise vacation!

Room Type: Inside

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the ship and the staff were so accomodating and friendly. The shows were great and we loved just walking around and taking in the beautiful decor everywhere you looked. The food was always great and we never had to wait in a line at the Windjammer cafe. It was wonderful to be constantly waited on and pampered! We have sailed with another cruise line in the past including Royal Caribbean and there is no comparison. RC is outstanding by far in their ships appearance, design, staff and service! We were unable to visit Grand Cayman Is. because of weather and we don't blame the cruise line for that even though it was disappointing. We did not enjoy our visit to Jamaica. We were bombarded with natives trying to get us to buy something or take a taxi. There really wasn't much to do other than shop or take one of the excursions and it was very windy and cloudy so we were happy that we didn't take one. We will not go back to Jamaica!

Pros: The service and cleanliness of the ship

Cons: Our visit to Jamaica

Food and Dining
The only comment I would make is that I was surprised that they don't offer any snacks such as popcorn, chips, pretzels etc. in any of their bars.
Cabin / Stateroom
Ocho Rios, Jamaica
We were very disappointed in Ocho Rios. The only thing the cruise line promoted was shopping. We purchased the coupon book which ended up being a rip off as far as we were concerned. They obviously want you to go into the jewelry stores to make purchases that they get a percentage of. We took a ride in a taxi thinking we would see some points of interest and there was nothing but slum areas, a part of the rain forest which was scary, the roads were almost impassible at times and there were people jumping out in front of you to get you to buy things from them etc. We would never recommend going back to Jamaica. We've been to several islands in the Caribbean and this was by far the worse.
