Having been on MSC 3 times now....don't EVER expect disembarque to go well. This time I thought I had it by going to guest relations the night before and checking my bill (which you MUST re-register your credit card) and was told I was all fine. Leaving, we waited in the line, got to the person checking our cards and I was told I had not paid my bill. I had to go to another line with about 50 people and 2 clerks. There I was told I had a bill even though the night before I didn't and had to pay cash to get off. I paid then had to take the family back in to the main line waiting again to get to the check out. Later I looked at the bill and found it was a in-room refrigerator charge---we didn't even have a key for the refrigerator!! Felt like it was a ransom to leave. But year before, it took 5 hours to leave the ship. Everyone's accounts were messed up. With the design of the ship, I would not take this ship again.

Pack your patience. With 5,000 + passengers the bottle-neck areas were unavoidable. All the guests were pleasant and it made waiting in these areas acceptable.

It's not a luxury line but is a good value. The food was good but average. Just go, enjoy and have fun. Met a lady who said this was her 47th MSC cruise.

Dont buy the drink packages. Non alcoholic or alcoholic they are far too expensive and both parties have to get the same package.

well one thing that was an unexpected pleasure is i had no drink package . it would not be something that my husband would enjoy since he drinks maybe 3 drinks on our cruise. In the dining room they had specil discount on good wines which was very afffordable for us and we purchased enough for our cruise. Hope they do this again on our next cruise. thank you

Just enjoy every venue and view of the ship. It's absolutely breathtaking! Not only exterior but interior design and detail of decor. Please don't worry about the number of people aboard, you won't even feel that the number is so large.

Bring a water bottle if you do not do the drink package. They charge you for water and you will need water in the heat so you can fill it up at the buffet for "free".

Skip the buffet & just head straight to the main dining room. Don't forget to make your reservation for theater shows in advance!

Be careful on the stairs. Feet tend to get trapped when you are going up.

Be patient with the elevators - if you are not into tech, this will be quite annoying.
