msc was a nice cruise for us. the price was fair. and the value was there. i would and did book another cruise on this line. the food is okay if compared to rcl or celebrity or carnival ti will rate them just okay, fair food . With the bread being an exception which was what i expect from a European ship and the pizza was a little better then most. also the pasta was at most mediocre and for some reason many rated it as exceptional which wasn't my experience. the ethenic station was mostly indian no real greek or even italian quisine or french which i was expecting. i liked the fact they had foos ball and paddle ball for the kids and they had many other activities but some were extra like bowling which was very expensive and not popular. i wish they had more showing of movies in the theater that only was once on our cruise and an older movie at that. but i wish they had a showing daily. i did not see the 3 d theater but i would never pay for 3 d theater on my cruise i'll save that for my everyday life at home and not on my cruise. since they charge extra for this. i requested to have a pitcher of water delivered to my cabin cause i forgot my drink bottle and husband his a medical problem and they said they couldn't do this??? which was a disappointment.

I totally enjoyed my vacation it was everything I expected it to be. My travel advisor provided the upmost service. She went up and beyond to take care of my travel needs. I would recommend her and will be using her services for my next vacation.

I will absolutely book with MSC again! I can't say enough about it! The price was right. The ship was beautiful and the staff was amazing!

Overall I would go on another cruise but definitely not with MSC.

Being older we enjoyed the relaxed spirit of the boat. We never felt like we had to always be present at a program. We really enjoyed getting to explore the boat at our own speed.

We haven't been on a cruise in about 10 years so this was basically new to us again. We know now to bring our own drinks because the package is to expensive and to also read the daily activities so we can know what happening around the ship. This was a for a celebration of life, so we had fun but we know for next time so we can maximize our time.

After reading reviews, we came to the cruise with low expectations. However, MSC exceeded our expectations with food, service and especially the theater shows. Ocean Cay was absolutely gorgeous! We will sail with MSC again!

Great cruise, good atmosphere and vive. The 9-11 tribute was amazing. Thank you very much for remembering both the heroes and the victims. The Star Spangle Banner rendition was one of the best that I have ever heard.

A very good cruise that could have been excellent other than a deadbeat cabin steward and MSC not correcting on faulty engine problem. This has happened multiple times in as many years. Like having Scotty from "Star Trek" saying "I'm giving her all she got, Captain". Why have they not fixed this correctly? Maybe due to loss of revenue and dry docking costs. I do want to point out the food was the best of any cruise we had. Great seafood dishes Mediterranean style. Strangely enough we hardly gained any weight due to lower carbohydrates and smaller desserts not over sugared. You walk away from your table actually feeling good and not bloated. With other cruises there were a lot of starches on the plate as fillers. Not this one. Lastly our travel agent Katherine Green got us the best table in the Ipanema dinning room. She made the booking stellar.

After viewing many videos on YouTube there were negative and positive reviews. Our travel agent said that he heard you either love it or you hate it. We went on with an open mind and were pleasantly surprised at how much we liked it. They did a status match for us. We are Diamond Plus on Royal and Platinum on Norwegian, so they gave us Gold status which is next to the top level of Diamond on MSC. It gave us some extra perks. We will sail with them again.

My fiancé and I were aboard the MSC Seaside August 27-31, and had the worst experiences on our cruise. We bought a $600 drink package on board. Every time we approached the bar we had to wait 5-10 minutes for anyone to come over. If we did not flag a bartender down, they simply continued restocking the bar area. The table service provided at the Seashore restaurant was lacking to say the least. The person filling our drinks did not understand English very well, and while I understand the difficulties, I do not see why he was taking drink orders. A “Blue Hawaiian” was perceived as “Blue Wine.” While I do not fault the individual, the service was deplorable. One night I asked for the wedge salad without blue cheese. Our waiter, Raman, said oh would you like the Cobb salad. After a small exchange of requesting a wedge with no blue cheese, he convinced me to try the Cobb Salad. I was disgusted to find the Cobb Salad had Krab on it, and didn’t touch the plate. 20 minutes after ordering, I get a wedge salad with no blue cheese. Then I was shocked to realize our bowl of bread had torn and previously eaten bread at our table!!!! The roll was torn in half and then quartered, with a half and quarter left in the bowl! There is no way that bowl was not at another table, which is so unsanitary and shows there is no integrity from the food. We avoided Seashore for the remainder of the cruise, taking our chances with the questionable buffet food. The topping of this unfortunate sundae was when we found out we would not be able to go to MSCs island. I understand things happen, but we spent another day at sea instead of going to the island? No extra activities or discounts or reimbursement????? Once again faced with customer service wildly disappointing for spending $1800 for a cruise!!!!!! “Oh yes, very sad. Oh well.” When we finally think the torture of MSC ends, we receive fees of $140 because our credit cards were charged in SWITZERLAND, rather than Port Canaveral where we started and ended our trip. This is the worst cruise I have ever been on. I do not understand how you are still receiving passengers, because I have never been more disappointed; much less for a celebration of ENGAGEMENT. Do better.

Overall my son and I had a great time. The ship was clean for the most part, loved the different types of lounges and themes for the bars were cool. easy plus drink package was very basic, only cheap tequilla.. food. ok, so buffets items were honestly pretty good. whether wed go for breakfast or lunch we had tasty fresh options as well as all the regular buffet stuff (pizza, burgers, hotdogs) dessert was good, breakfast buffets was great we would go back for seconds lol. all inclusive restaurants were ok..italian night was no good..other nights food was ok..onboard activities were fun, staff always friendly.

The young lady at the buffet on 16 was very sweet and helpful.

We didn't get to see Ocean Cay(the reason we booked this cruise) because cruise line lied to us - wasn't hurricane winds but a broken engine in need of more repairs

Amazing first cruise. Beautiful Caribbean ports. Ship was beautiful and felt very luxurious.

Loved this cruise, hands down the staff was what made this such a memorable experience. 10/10 would recommend MSC to anyone, with no hesitations. Will be back on board ASAP! Thank you Maria, Primas, and the entire yacht club staff!

We had a excellent time. Already booked our next cruise with MSC.

Ocean Cay is very nice. The ship docks right at the shore. You can take a walk on the island in the evening.

Had a fantastic cruise, good clientele (no fights) and will definitely book another MSC cruise!!
