Bad in some ways and good in other ways. Beware of MSC cruises, it's not up to par with the likes of Royal Caribbean and Carnival line cruises, in my experience.
Embarkation
1 out of 5
Ok not too slow, pretty good. Happy staff on check in too!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
I went to the main dining room and the two buffets for the cruise. Being with a group, most dinners were in the main dining room.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
None of them. Activities look interesting.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The stage performance was OK. The captain was out and about alot! Even after shows too.
Children's Programs
No kids.
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
Staff seemed overstretched and this was about the 3 or 4th cruise. Got wrong vouchers in room, room steward seemed overworked. Some of my group didn't get their luggage untill days later into the cruise
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Apart from the poo smell in some parts of the ship and the smoke drifting in to non smoking areas, it was clean. It was still a very new ship back in 2018 though.
Cabin / Stateroom
2 out of 5
It was pretty nice overall, probably one of the few stand outs of the cruise.
Ship tip
Make sure to do your research on MSC cruises, so you know what your getting yourself into. Eyes wide open.
Scqry to see so many people staring at us from outside the gates at the port. A wonderful experience at the blue hole, the tour guide was very friendly Half the group then went horse riding and the other half relaxed at a beach resort.
Disappointing that I didn't get to touch the sting rays because of sea conditions. However went to hell (it's a tourist shop selling trinkets.) Then after relaxed on a beach for some hours before going back on the ship.
We snorkeled with the turtles and some jellyfish. Had fun, had to remember how to snorkel, it had been too long since I had. Then relaxed at the beach and ate some lunch.
Sorry for some of the positive comments combined with the negative ratings in the same category. I tried to change when I was given the option. Anyway, I somehow saved it, and now the option to fix it is gone.
