Overall I would rate the cruise an 8.5 out of 10. The entertainment and New Year's Eve party was excellent. The food and drinks were good. I will consider MSC in the future.

The gym was a bit small for the number of passengers and a few equipment were out of service.

Best part of the cruise was their entertainment. Great shows and parties.

Overall the service was good. There were a few waiters that were excellent and some were okay. Some waiters were doing their jobs but did not demonstrate being happy doing their job. No smile, no eagerness, not the attitude passengers want to see on a trip. Others were great. This caused me to return to the same bars with the waiters that had a positive attitude. This is an area that MSC needs to improve.
Ship Quality

The ship layout and design was excellent and looked gorgeous.
Cabin / Stateroom

Size was adequate and great location. The couch had stains that should have been better cleaned.
Ship tip
If you purchase the drink package, read it well. The basic package only covered alcoholic drinks up to $6 which was very limited on choices. MSC should make some changes on their drink packages.
Express disembarkation was not fast at all. MSC security was verifying that passengers exiting the ship did not have an outstanding balance on their account and this caused extensive long lines and waiting time. MSC could have ensured passengers paid their bills in a different manner.
