If has been over a year since my cruise so I definitely had time to reflect. This was one of the 1st sailings so what was frustrating at the time, I now “forgive”. Majority of any complaints is probably related to the ship and staff figuring things out. I didn’t think the staff was rude but maybe a bit indifferent. This did not really affect my experience. I was unhappy with my experience with guest relations. The woman I spoke to there was not nice. I got frustrated with the lack of knowledge of the workers on the ship. Like I said—at the time this annoyed me but now I realize that leeway was needed considering that the staff was new to the ship. The entertainment was the best I have seen on a cruise (not that I have tons to compare to). But truly, we thought the productions were quality and the performers very talented. There were problems with areas of the ship that was in disrepair. I’m guessing the kinks were not worked out yet. Food was fine. Nothing to complain about or rave about, except I did love the quick access to pizza. Pizza was good and it was a staple in my cruise diet that week! I was originally nervous to sail with MSC based on reviews I read prior but after my experience, I would cruise on MSC again. I would recommend the Seaside.
