Review summary

All in all we had a very nice cruise. There are some bugs to be worked out but we think that is to be expected on a ship that was barely a month old.

Embarkation

5 out of 5

We arrived at port early and had a short wait for security to open. Once through security we got checked in and to the waiting area where they were searching water and juices. Corolers were singing Christmas carols as well. The check in agent forgot to give us our boarding card. Having realized the mistake she found us and got us on the ship in the first boarding group. The newly renovated terminal F was very well done.

The buffets were not well cleaned and it was difficult to find a restaurant open when we wanted to eat. The main dining room was great and our waiter, Abdool was the greatest. The bars were very slow and it was difficult to get drinks.

Everyone we met was friendly and courtious. We only saw our room steward a couple of times but our cabin was always cleaned and well taken care of.

Very nice cabin. Storage design and space are a new layout not as much space as we are used to but worked for two of us.

Ship tip

be polite and patient. Though we met a lot of very nice people on this cruise, there were many more who pushed, shoved and were just plain rude.

We elected self disembarkation and made it off the ship very quickly after the ship was cleared by customs.

You can sign up for the shows every day using their app, on your Tv or on the information boards around the ship. We arrived at the port just before 10:00am.
