MSC definitely had it quirks. I loved our cabin. I would try MSC again but not sure my husband would. Lack of eating places a big problem for a ship that size. Other cruise lines have other free places to grab something to eat. You are limited to the buffet or your assigned dining room for dinner only, not good for that many people. Alot of waiting in lines. My kids didn't like that ice cream was only served at 4pm in the buffet and the line was 5 miles long. Again, maybe they should try to follow suit with other cruise lines on food and ice cream being readily available.
Embarkation

I did hear there was trouble at the port but that should have been communicated out and had people come to port later. Waited in line for well over 2 hours, outside, worst embarkation I ever had
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
Buffet was awful, too many people. Main dining rooms should have been open for breakfast. You can't fit 5100 in the buffet. Main dining room was OK. Lack of understanding English a little bit of a problem as well in not getting what you asked for. Need more food places

Service and Staff

Service was OK, not overly fast. Lack of English was a bit of a problem at times. Our room steward was good, no problems
Ship Quality

Ship is beautiful and was clean.
Cabin / Stateroom

I actually thought our cabin was great. The size was good, the beds were comfortable. I didn't know what to expect from the pull out but it was big and comfy, I was pleasantly surprised. The bathroom was bigger than most. I would definitely recommend this room.
Ship tip
I wouldn't go at holiday time, too busy. Definitely get the Aurea package, best bang for your buck really.
Disembarkation was excellent really, we were let off earlier than they said and it moved fast, we did express walk off. Took 30 min. from getting in line to our car, we parked in the terminal garage
Why wasn’t the dining room opened for breakfast each morning? I’ve been on 3 MSC ships and had breakfast every morning in the dining room, including the Seashore! Did you check each morning if it was available?
