I don't have the words to say how disappointed and upset we were with the whole experience. We are avid cruisers and will be going again, but never on an MSC.
If I can help just one person with not wasting their money on MSC, then maybe some good will come of our experience.

Food and Dining
1 out of 5
Never had a hot meal, whether it's breakfast lunch or dinner, buffet or dinning room, food was always room temperature at best. After 20 days on the boat we stopped eating breakfast all together, and went to bed hungry. Just couldn't stomach the same cold crap again and again. The only thing eatable was the paid for 'specialty" restaurant but only one was open for the majority of trip and we got tired of eating and paying for the same thing. BTW, you have to pay for water or any drinks in the dinning room. Coffee was terrible, no cream just hot milk that was usually spoiled. Just bad in every possible way.
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
Just sad, same activities pretty much every day and no clue how to engage the passengers. The crew was amazing in their ability to speak most languages, but it made things unbearable because everything they did had to be announced 5 times in 5 different languages.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
It was typical and about what you would expect.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Staff did their best and I was impressed with their ability to speak multiple languages.
Ship Quality

Rooms were clean and comfortable enough. However, the boat wasn't kept very clean. We would use one stair case just to check and see if a bread stick was still there, and it always was.
Cabin / Stateroom

All good, nothing spectacular
Ship tip
Don't sail on MSC. You won't be saving any money, as you have to pay for everything, including water. Yes they have a couple of stations where you can get water and ice, but it's a fight and free for all. People were reusing water bottles and you would think that after covid people would know better.
I wasn’t sailing with MSC since 2019 but I’m planning a trip on that exact vessel in 2025. I have been traveling with MSC quite a few times in the past (among others a three week Atlantic crossing from Buenos Aires to Kiel, Germany). In preparation to that vacation I read horrible stories about their bad food. So I kept expectations low. But my personal experience was quite nice. There was always something to my liking. But I am not a picky person so that’s not that hard for me. Considering the included drinks. My experience was, sailings in Europe and that mentioned crossing they always charged us for every drink (even tap water) at the MDR.
Sailings out of the US were different. On our cruises out of Miami and NYC the tap water policy at the MDR were different. Tap water at the MDR was included on these sailings. So they adopted to their US customers and their habits which is a good thing I think.
But the best one can do is purchasing a drink package to avoid a surprise.
We meet a shop owner in Belgium and we told him we were on the MSC cruise and he told us his friends and family call it the weight Watches Cruise, because the food is so bad - we couldn't have agreed more.
