Review summary
We felt this cruise was a good value. The price was right and the kids sail free was perfect. My kids enjoyed the kids club, and they welcomed our 6 year old with special needs into all of their activities. They simply gave us a pager to call us when she needed to use the potty. The dinners were great, wine selection was nice. The ship was clean. There was a wide array of international passengers, which we thought was great. My only complaint was that some of the crew and passengers were rude and ingnored our daughters special needs. For example, able bodied passengers, who would reach the elevator area well after we had arrived and pushed the button, would jump on the elevator as soon as the door opened leaving us to wait for the next elevator. A few crew members, specifically on excursions, would take off not realizing we had to wait for elevators and we would have to run to find them and catch up. Others in wheelchairs had special escorts for the drills, had priority in embarking, escort in embarking up the elevators, and help with movement on/off the ship but we did not receive any such treatment. There were not enough lounge chairs or pool deck space on pool level. Often, there were chairs on the next level up, but given that we could not use stairs and needed to be situated on the same level as the pool, that wasn't a realistic option for us. The rules clearly said no saving chairs for more than 30 minutes, but often chairs would be 'saved' for over 2 hours.Ship experiences
