Don't bother

Sail Date: January 01, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Balcony

The entertainment was seriously lacking. The shore excursion crew did not know about the ports. THE ONLY MOVIES IN THE CABINS WERE PAY MOVIES AND THOSE WERE OLD. Only 2 American tv channels, one was a taped TBS channel and then CNN.
Food was ok, but served leftovers at the buffet the next day.

Pros: The ports of call were great

Cons: The cruise line is not on par with other cruise lines, food and entertainment

Recommends MSC Poesia? No.

Service and Staff
I heard a lot of "I'm sorry, madam" from the staff
Ship Quality
Ship was pretty, nice layout, clean
Food and Dining
Nothing special
Cabin / Stateroom
Staterooms were nice
Entertainment
No options, schedules were poor and no variety. Bring your dominoes or cards
