After reading the posted reviews, I was not expecting much. This was a pleasant surprise. The food was great, have no idea what people companied about. It was cool weather but the hot tubs were warm and clean. The ease of ordering morning room service was great. They always came right on time and the coffee was hot, the pastries warm and fresh. Fresh bedding at the end of almost each day was heaven. The ice bucket in the room was kept fresh and full. Other than the language barrier everything you ask for the staff went out of their way to get for you and quickly. The only negative was the staff at the excursion desk had long lines and long waiting time, they were rude.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Great food nice presentation. The midnight buffet was amazing! (I DID NOT HAVE PASTA, EVEN ONE TIME)

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Great acrobatics performers. Singers and dancers were ok not the best performances. Local staff was entertaining but corny. Italian lessons were great! The arts & crafts were not organized well.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
We were very impresses by the detail and care given to cleanliness and housekeeping of our room. The ship was very large however easy to navigate. The Spa and exercise area was outstanding. The hand sanitizers stationed at the elevators, stairs and exit/entrance of each lounge/restaurant.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
nice size balcony with wicker chairs and table. Having fresh bedding almost each day was heaven!

Pros: The detail to cleanliness and the effort of the employees to please along with the wonderful food!

Cons: The lack of organization/communications for excursions and leaving the ship at some ports.

Recommends MSC Poesia? Yes!
