I had always heard positive things about MSC, however that was not the case for me. As an avid cruiser I thought I knew what I was getting. From the start the service was less than desirable at the terminal. When we were told as Americans our covid tests (less than 72 hours ago) were invalid. For American citizens results had to be less than 48 hours. At no time was this communicated. I received 8 emails to upgrade my room but not one indicating this change. Seems like the cruise line just wanted to rob passengers for extra cash. Charging both me and my husband $80 to retest. I was willing to let that go. The next day we arrive in Bahamas with the tickets in hand for our dolphin encounter. They were left in our stateroom the previous night. We arrrived at the meeting place there was no one there ( seemed weird) so we proceeded to the guest services desk. We were then informed our excursion was cancelled. When I question the manager why we were not notified she stated “they called the room.” I’m on vacation not in my room. Why would a note not be slipped under the door? My tickets were able to be placed on my bed but a cancelation notice couldn’t make it to the room? When I questioned this she stated the did leave a note on the door but perhaps a kid on the ship played a game and took it. Seriously?! The entertainment was less than mediocre. Activities were boring and the food was bland at best. Spend the money to go another route. Wait staff on the ship were great. So polite and helpful. Our cabin attendant, Eric was THE best. I would not recommend MSC. The lack of communication, bland food, and lack of ownership to correct a situation we had absolutely no notice of is ridiculous. No manager on board would refund the money for the additional covid test and stated because it did not happen physically in board the ship she had no control. I would have to call the customer service number to MSC when I got back home.

This is the most bizarre cruise line ever… the food is not very good at all, which is super disappointing. The service was lackluster. There were so many inconsistencies and ordering drinks from the various bars that they were their own signature drinks. The entertainment was truly bizarre. It was just not that enjoyable.

Divina is a little older ship but doesn’t show like that. Very clean, updated staff is excellent.

Great itinerary. MSC works hard to get it right. Great crew... Very rude passengers from all over the world. Just smile when someone says good morning! Americans were a minority for sure...

We had a wonderful time, and will definitely be cruising with MSC again. I knew I would enjoy the cruise, but I didn’t realised I would enjoy it that much. Thank you to all of the crew and staff for a magical week. You’ve given me the cruise bug.

Don’t go.. Horrible, everything from the food to the service and staff. The passengers put the icing on the cake. RUDE..MSC never again. Transfer from airport to port disorganized we arrived at the ship 3 hours after arriving. Port to airport disorganized we took a taxi to the airport because transfer hadn’t arrived after 2 hours of waiting. Of course MSC employees didn’t know anything and they would talk among themselves about the passengers in Italian. Little did they know that I am Italian and I knew what they were saying about us. RUDE. MSC NEVER AGAIN. Please don’t go with MSC.

We loved it and we are looking for another cruise to take with msc very nice stops and we would love to find another cruise that’s leaves in May 2019

I would not go on this cruise line if the cruise was free the staff is ignorant the people are even more ignorant this was the worst experience in my life my fiancé actually got depressed and the ship I had fear is that my daugh I would not go on this cruise line if the cruise was free the staff is ignorant the people are even more ignorant this was the worst experience in my life my fiancé actually got depressed and the ship alcohol flow to my son as if he was 21 with a drink card and he is only 17 little girls got felt up on witness by my son by staff members from the ship the serving staff is rude The entertainment is god awful I guess you get what you pay for but I would never pay for this again even if it was free I would not take it

It is what you get for your money. Nice ship, nice layout, overcrowded, food is almost fair, great pizza, “free” drink package is a gimmick and very limited. The drinks coupon is a sham and cumbersome system. Staff need to be thoughroughly trained.

I know it’s not the ships fault but people were really snobby. Overall it’s a great ship and I’m going on another 2 MSC ships this year.

We enjoyed the Divina on the New Years cruise. The ship was beautiful and clean. The food was better than I thought it would be (I was worried after reading so many negative reviews). I enjoyed breakfast in the buffet. We would alternate eating lunch in the buffet and dining room. To be honest I enjoyed lunch in the dining room a lot more than dinner. I enjoyed the shows the tenor is the best I have ever heard. I also enjoyed the saxophone player in the lobby. He is very talented. I felt like we were a minority......Americans and only being able to speak English but that was ok. We met some really great people and had a relaxing vacation. MSC is a different experience compared to RCCL and Carnival but we liked it. I would cruise MSC again. Would love to try the Seaside.

Food was beyond vile. I mean there should never be a time on a cruise when you are hungry right? We are sticking with Royal or Princess next time. The crew were awesome and very friendly. Notes to self, Europeans are the rudest people on the planet! They don’t know how to say please, Thankyou or excuse me to save their lives, the British people are very sweet though. The islands were beautiful and we plan on visiting again through a different cruise line.

I just sailed the Divina for 12 days during the Christmas and New Years sailing. It was my second time on this ship and I loved it once again. The entertainment is top notch. The bar staff was excellent! Service is always magnificent. I enjoyed the all the shows in the main theater. The Frank Sinatra show is wonderful! It was a great experience during the holiday season. I will continue sailing MSC in the future. In fact, I've already reserved the MSC SeaSide for this upcoming NewYears sailing.

Overall, I loved this ship and cruise line. MSC was wonderful and a fair price. The food was great. I am an American, and I really enjoyed being part of the minority on the ship. It was great meeting new people from all over the world. Yes, some things were strange, but it was enjoyable. Like the shows were off the walls weird but, I just sat back and enjoyed it for what it was. We had some good laughs with the people around us regarding the shows, but that made for a good time. I also didnt mind the announcements were done in mulitple languages. It didnt bother me, people need to relax, you are on vacation. I would do another cruise again with MSC, was a great experience!

I am a queen of cruiser and I’ve been to a lot of different cruise lines, and I have to admit MSC Divina has the best live production show. Kudos, MSC see you in the future.

Great ship. Amazing shows. Although when I visited I was exclusively in yacht club, be sure to get to the pool nice and early to avoid the mid-afternoon crowds. Your best bet is to get the pizza at the buffet or at the pizzeria. Pizza 10:10 best pizza you will find. Personally all expectations were met and I was satisfied with my stay on the MSC Divina.

Good 4 day trip Good kids activities Beautiful boat, good food and fun entertainment Nassau is always a great port to visit No craps tables in casino and poor bar service while playing Didn't like tear off coupons to use for unlimited drink package. No refund if you lose the tear off booklet --so don't lose it!
