Great destinations .. an adventure by kayem1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

It was more of an adventure to be with mainly Italians... The ship was clean and efficient.. The buffet was fine..but, the main dining room was never good and I'm not that picky. I loved the ports .. but, used private tours ... which were very good. Don't expect Europeans to be as friendly as Americans.... just take them as they are. I think this was more interesting to mix with other cultures.

Far below expectations :( by todddrangstveit

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

It felt like I was on a maiden voyage as everything seemed to be highly unorganized and poorly planned. The food available at dinner was nearly identical to what was served in the buffet. Breakfast was by far the best meal of the day despite the lack of variety it was so good. There were a lot of kids and it seemed the parents brought them along so they didn't have to watch them and let them wander. My wife and I had planned on spending a few evenings with drinks and dancing and were very disappointed to not find a place where kids were not allowed at all. The rules were very loose and it just didn't give us the vibe that we would cruise with MSC again. The staff was spectacular and very helpful. Although the ports were a bit short compared to other itineraries I have seen, they were the highlight of the trip. From a value standpoint, MSC definitely isn't bad, we just had higher expectations for the entire voyage.

From MeetOnCruise iPhone App:... by lizzel

Sail date: /
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

From MeetOnCruise iPhone App: We had two suites in the yachtclub. Butler, congierge and waiters were fantastic. We, 2 adults and six children, had a fantastic time. Food in Le Muse was very good. Breakfast was also good but would have preferred achange of menu. Excursions we planned ourselves. There were taxis waiting eveywhere for 8 times less! Bari was walkable, dubrovnic not! Hop on hopoff in Istanbul was nice and we saw a lot. Shows on ship were great. We hadan extra package of drinks but were hardly ever out of the range of the yachtclub. On the other parts of the boat it was too busy. I dont think i will ever take a cruise outside the yachtclub. Everydat we had a place in the sun, the pool was quiet, luckily there were more children in the yachtclub. We didnt reallyhave the advized clothes. There were casual evenings, informal where preferably no jeans are allowed and the gala where men mostly wore tux! We had a great cruise and the children did also!

Let's just say there will... by NanyMendez

Sail date: /
Ship: MSC Divina

Let's just say there will never be a reason to be bored. The first time I went it was a blast I'm very excited to be going again this year and also hope to have more fun than the first time if that is possible. So many different things to do in the ship and many more when you reach your different ports.

Horrible, horrible, horrible by stevenagel

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

The Food was horrible, many items undercooked or uncooked. They ran out of bannanas on day 2, chocolate milk on day 5, raisins on day 6 and oatmeal on day 7. The dining room manager refused to seat an 82 year old women as she was 3 hours late for her assigned seating time due to their excursion being late. Staff was every rude - EXCEPT the room steward and the entertainment staff. Disembarkation took hours

MSC Divina by hamshams

Great weather and great company. Loved MSC Divina. Very busy ship but always managed to find seats at buffet or bars. Pizza was amazing on the ship. Entertainment was good and always something to see or do onboard.

Greece Turkey and Italy in a week by h8lsg

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: MSC Divina

Overall a good first cruise which we enjoyed a lot. However: Tender offloads disorganised starting with queuing on the morning for tickets. Priority given to MSC excursions Buffet just a little too overbearing to be fun Some people (other guests) have no awareness of personal space, in particular with our less mobile party member who uses a walker - we had to muscle people out of the way on a number of occasions especially at the lifts or getting on/off tenders

Awesome Team! by blueatlantic

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Divina

Nice crossing. Fully booked. Some VERY rude guests. Staff handled them so well! Great team. A lot of staff from Bali & Mauritius who we found very kind & competent. Very hard working & sweet. Great coffee. Not a bad buffet. The team - from the moment you step aboard to the time you gather your luggage at the port - phenomenal.

Had a good time and most things were good. Overall, MSC has a ways to ho until they reach the level of Royalcaribbean, Celebrity, Princess or Holland America

Stay away by Mbrent

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple

No communication from staff for excursions. Nobody knew what was going on. The app they make you use was worthless, only find out next day activities the night before couldn’t plan your time efficiently.

Excellent Cruise by BLawson2015

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Divina

As first time cruise "goers" we were very surprised at how incredible it was. We had our standards set pretty low due to mixed reviews of MSC Davina but honestly we were VERY IMPRESSED with everything. We have also had some pretty amazing vacations that we didn't think others would come close to. This trip is in the top for us! And the pizza was good!!!
