Review summary

Overall great trip. Good cruise line. Would be nice if they didn’t have people walking around the whole time trying to sell you a dining meal or drink package. But other than that, good choice for relaxing vacation for adults. I think kids would get bored.

Food and Dining

Food was good. Would like to see a little more variety for main dishes in the buffet. We had 3 days of Indian food which seemed odd.

Onboard Activities

Not a lot of activities on the boat which was fine for us. Basically pools and hot tubs. There is a single water slide also. Good for relaxation.

Entertainment

Stage shows were good but short at 45 min. Booked performers were middle of the road. Best show was the staff variety show the last night.

Service and Staff

Staff was excellent. No bad experiences and there seemed to be staff available anytime you needed them.

Top notch. Very clean vessel.

Cabin / Stateroom

Small inside cabins that are functional. Could use more outlets. Bring a surge strip.

Ship tip

Get to the boat as early as possible. They will let you on before lunch and you almost get a bonus day on the boat.

Port was fine. Lack of transportation options from Sanford Airport is an issue.

Beautiful Island for relaxing beach day. Lunch food was better than the ship. Get down to lighthouse beach early for free umbrellas and chairs.

Thanks for the review. I went on MSC for the first time in January and had a great experience. I just told the people up selling no thanks the first day and never was approached again. I’m looking forward to 19 days on the Divina in October.
