As soon as you leave the ship...Yacht Club ends. Although there is a separate area for Yacht Club baggage, only one of my bags made it off the ship. Ground staff rude , abrupt and treated us as if we were an inconvenience rather than helping find our luggage. Port Authority staff (Porters) were wonderful, doing everything they could to help us, even going to the baggage handlers on the ship to try and find our bag. For the $$$ they charge in Yacht Club, there should be a Butler team in the Terminal organizing the retrieval of our luggage and making sure everyone has the correct bag..that is what luggage tag#s are for. Either my bag did not make it off the ship which is the most likely or someone removed it for the extremely expensive Samsonite luggage I carry. If that is the case, I sure hope they are enjoying my Maui Jim sunglasses, $200 hair straightening iron and all my evening wear with designer shoes purhased for the trip. We will see how this situation unfolds when the Divina comes back to Port tomorrow. a
Other than the misplaced luggage it seems you had a great cruise. We’ve experienced the luggage mishap also. In fact on our last cruise. It can happen so I take it in stride. Thanks for the review.
