Review summary

Overall we had a great time. Your vacation will be what you make of it and focus on. Are there things we didn’t like? Yes but it’s a matter of personal opinion and comparison between other ships. None the less we rested, had fun, partied and danced everyday and ate way too much.

Food and Dining

Main dining room “The Black Crab” was wonderful. Great service and food. The buffet had good food but their system was very chaotic. Bumping into people who were all walking around scattered bc the setup has you bouncing all over the place and sometimes only one side would be open. Clean up of tables seemed a bit slow therefore made it hard to find seating sometimes.

Onboard Activities

Didn’t do many shows but the one at the theater that we did see was ok. The white party was super fun but after the first day all events seemed like the same choreographed dances over and over. None the less we enjoyed ourselves and went dancing at the Galaxy lounge every night.

Dj’s were great. Didn’t see many shows and crew was fabulous!

Service was great. Only saw cabin steward once but the crew around the ship was fantastic overall.

The ship was gorgeous!! Layout was a bit confusing and hard to get acquainted but it definitely had amazing decor and was very clean, shiny, and sparkly!

Cabin / Stateroom

Size was big and comfortable and the balcony was huge and a treat! I’d stay in that room again for sure. You can hear the upstairs buffet area at times but we had our earplugs and it did not bother us at all.

Ship tip

Look for the single elevators that are hidden away. They are the fastest and easiest to use to get around in.

Had a great time at Señor Frog’s. Sad to see they are still recovering from the Hurricane and really need tourism to help them come up. We spent some time at the Lucaya Marketplace shopping and talking to the locals.

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

Loved it. It’s brand new and still growing and tweaking things but it was beautiful, fun, and relaxing! Wish they had attendants or more stations to get umbrellas from since you have to get them and set them up yourself. It’s not too difficult just tedious. None the less it’s a nice place to really just relax.

Disembarkation

The fastest and easiest disembarkation we’ve had. We were the last to call and so we had breakfast and lounged around till we got called. Very stress free.

Glad you enjoyed it and didn’t let a few issues ruin your experience. Thanks for the details as well. I see many negative reviews where people rate everything 1 star and give few details. The negative reviews would be more believable and helpful if details were provided rather than just a rant telling everyone not to take the cruise.
