Review summary

Great Cruise, nice destinations, great buffet, exceptional cabin, great staff, very dissatisfied with the dining room. For three nights it over an hour to get to the main entree. I waited an hour and a half for a cup of coffee. I ordered it when arrived during the main course which was an undercooked steak that took over an hour to come (I was not about to send it back) I was told my coffee should arrive in time for my dessert. 1 1/2 hours for coffee. In short avoid the dining room (the remaining nights I went to the buffet.) Otherwise a great Cruise. MSC will see me again!

Beautiful ship. More activities on RC or NCL, but the ship was exceptional.

Cabin / Stateroom

6 stars!!!! After 15 cruises on 6 cruise lines this was $ for $ the best cabin ever. Some ships would call this a suite, but it was just a balcony stateroom which I always choose. The largest and most comfortable. Beautiful designed even the largest bathroom in a balcony stateroom. I will return just for the cabin.

Ship tip

The buffet is better than the dining room. Don't waste your 2 hours there.

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

Ocean Cay has much potential. I was told that it's only been opened 6mos. It reminds me of RC's Labadee when it first opened about 25+ years ago. Nicer beaches than Labadee but not much else.

Fastest ever anywhere!!!!! I was told to vacate the cabin by 7:30 around 8:30 I was in my car
