Review summary

Stay away from the MSC Davina of you enjoy getting off at ports. If you enjoy good food, this is not for you. Only good item was their pizza... they do make good pizza.

Embarkation

Slow and disorganized

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Buffet lacked variety. Everyday same thing. Dinning room made Denny's seem gourmet.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The spas were lukewarm at best

Entertainment

3 out of 5
These were ok

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
My swimsuit was taken from my cabin and no efforts were made to fix the problem. They were ok with me not having a swimsuit for a Caribbean cruise. Had to spend $65 to buy one in Tortola. Eventually they found it on last day.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Agip and cleanliness were fine

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Everything was fine in the room with the exception of having toilets not working three times.

Ship tip

Don't. They have no idea how to disembark those many passagers when arriving at porta. Hours wasted and unsafe with people pushing. Not to mention that they have terrible port times.

Ports of call

San Juan, Puerto Rico

2 out of 5
Puerto Rico is great, but Davina arrived at 5pm ledt at 1 am. No opportunity to see anything.

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

4 out of 5
The baths are beautiful but swimming there was dangerous.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Rent a car... be careful you might get overcharged at port. do your homework rent ahead of time.

Nassau, Bahamas

People Need To Always Think Positive On Every Cruise, Even If Bad Stuff Comes Out Of It.

Why do people not look at the itinerary when booking a cruise? I see lots of complaints about short port times or arriving late in the evening and people act surprised and disappointed. Unless there is an issue with the ship having to change the times, the itineraries are posted before you actually book the cruise.

I noticed that about the Seaside and their port times.
