overall my wife and I liked the cruise very much. Although for us it was cruise no. 15 it was the first one with MSC. We like the concept and especially the great variety of live evening enternainment. staff and service excellent! The only point in comparison with other cruise lines we experiences was the very poor variety in the buffet restaurant. Every day almost same typ of food and although the ship seemed to be fully booked and the restaurant most of the time very full only the main food station was open at all times. Never during the entire cruise food was offered at all station even with the restaurant full which led to long waiting lines which was totally unnecessary as the capacity of food stations was there.

At the main restaurant we are always used to an excellent service with the waiter, head waiter and bus boy. But at this particular cruise the service was off. The waiter seemed to be always under time pressure and made us feel that he wanted to finish the service at our table as fast as possible. Bread service through the bus boy was at the beginning of dinner and very often only with an already limited variety. Refill and other type of bread was only available after speically requesting bus boy to look for it. so dining experience was well below average in both venues.
