Choose another cruise line all together. MSC is not a normal Caribbean ship for regular cruisers or first time. I have sailed with several different companies to know difference

Get ready for amazing service!!

To go and enjoy
CruznLife4Ever
Try it. There are a lot of multinational people on board as guests and it was pleasurable to meet people from so many places

About 80-85% of the passengers do not speak, or speak very little, English. Socially, you feel like a bit of an outcast. Certainly not the fault of anyone on the ship - -they are all very nice - - but culturally, it is very different than being on a Carnival/Royal/Norwegian ship.
tinabk
Sail it only for the ports, not the ship
Bubbie6
Done sail on the Armonia. We were told by some staff members that they don’t get any training. ☹️
HappyHippieNat
Don't sail on this ship it needs to retire!!!
Renne27
Go to the main restaurant for breakfast and lunch. It is less crowded .

Do it everything, walk, eat, take photos, drink, talk with the crew...

great

Buy drinks package. Excursions are expensive so choose carefully!
Tstaadt
Buy drink and water packages . Be aware of the Italian themed entertainment. The evening shows were 30-45 minutes long and you had to prebook everyday for your time slot.
Swissprice
The drinks packages weren't worth it for us so I recommend you to calculate (in average) how many drinks you will have and if it'll be alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks.

I would never recommend this cruise unless you are above the age of 70 and don't like socializing with people and don't care about food. I would recommend any other ship over MSC in future, especially Carnival and Royal Carribbean.
sharilinton
Buy the drinks package or sneak liquor on board. Buy water at every port. The free vending water taste horrible and water at dinner is 3 Euros
