nice cruise

Sail Date: February 01, 2013

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

there seem to be a lot smoking\, you couldnt go to far on the ship without going thru smoking area\, less booze in desserts and less non-alcohol drinks available.more gift shops for sovneirs\, ex. coffee mugs and postcards. there was only two postcards and no mugs.

Pros: meals- as to the way the took the time to cater to my special diet restrictions

Cons: i expected more excertions options

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED)? Yes!

Service and Staff
the staff was very knowledgable in what they do and if they didnt know they would find out and get back to you.
Ship Quality
the rooms could of been dusted better\, i have a dust allergy
Food and Dining
food was excellent in what i could eat\, but hard to find food that could cater to my needs. but when i asked they went out of their way to get me sometime i could eat\, even if it meant for them to go to another restruant to get it for me.
Cabin / Stateroom
i thought the room would of been bigger by the description it gave.
Entertainment
some activities you would get prizes and others you wouldnt which didnt seem fair when you put in the effort to participate in them. our previous cruise no matter what activity or game you were awarded a prize of some sort. so more people had gotten involved more. and the prizes should be simular to each other\, not keychain for one and medal for another. ex. one trivia you would get keychain the other you would get medal. keychains just seemed to be cheap compared to other prizes offered. at least give options of prizes if they are going to do keychains or something simular.
