A nice cruise

Sail Date: January 01, 2013

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The cruise was nice. No real complaints although it wasn't up to the same level that we have previously experienced with Holland America. Dining room food and service was excellent. CocoCay was excellent. Entertainment was excellent. The ship was a bit worn\, but generally well maintained. The ship goes out of service in April\, 2013 and will be replaced with a newer ship with more amenities.

Pros: Dining room\, entertainment\, CocoCay

Cons: nothing very bad\, cabin was a bit small - even for an outside cabin

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED) 221? Yes!

Service and Staff
cabin steward was average\, dining room waiters\, etc. were excellent
Cabin / Stateroom
