Review summary
Hello, I regret to inform you of a resent past experience aboard The Monarch of The Seas just this past week. I was traveling with two other couples one April Gentile and Ed Sheperd who are platinum members and a new couple to cruising Yaron and Robin Biatcher State rooms 9016 9014 9012. There was a terrible fowl smell throuout our hallway that remained thru the entire cruise even after we had brought this to the attention of the Cabin Steward and the front desk.It was so bad we had to cover our noses every time we came and left our State rooms. The day of our landing in Coco Cay we had to wait close to two hours to board the shuttle vessel due to a broken hook on one of the vessels. There was a line they had us on that went all the way up to the sixth floor level (Terrible way to spend in line instead of on the beach) While at the Casino Bar the day of the Super Bowl we had the mispleasure of a couple of Bar Tenders that had a tremendous lack in customer service. To make a long story short we sat down to watch the Game ordered a drink, went next door to the Schooner bar and returned with some chips to pick on ,we were then told by one of the Bartenders we could not eat at the Bar,We asked why and they said it was a rule We said OK and left with the food asking them to save our seats, After we returned to our seats we noticed three other patrons to our left scoffing down large plates of chicken wings, hot dogs and burgers. When we asked the Bartender why that was OK for them to eat he answered with they would not listen to him. I then said if we didnt listen would that be OK??? He ansered with a smirk!! and disapeared into the back room, when he returned i requested to talk to a Manager after that we were ignored at the Bar and for about an hour and a half did not recieve any further service. when my wife came down to meet me for dinner i explained to her what had transpired She then said to the Bartender "I had been there for twenty minuets waiting to order a drink," His reply to her was and while POINTING his Finger in her face YOU WERE NOT, I then told him not to point his finger at my wife and he did it again except this time it was directly in her Nose. I then went to the Pit Boss and told him what had transpired at the Bar he imedietly got a Manager there to assist. When the Manager came instead of coming over to talk to me she went into the back with the Bar tenders, she finally came out about 15 minuets later and came around the Bar to talk to me when i started to explain what had happened she over spoke me and said i cursed out her employee I answered that that was after he pointed his finger in my wifes face for the second time!!!!!!! And had been asked not to do it again. I then spent the rest of my last night on board talking with the front desk manager who then called the head of security whom i spent over an hour and a half with filling out reports and pointing out the Bartenders involved back over at the Casino. With all this i must say i have never had any kind of experience like this before and was utterly SHOCKED. I later found out that the Monarc of the Seas was sold and have no choice but to blame this unacceptable customer service on that. Please review the statement we placed while on the Boat under Suit # 9016 Thanks for your time Sincerly disapointed, Joseph RosenbergShip experiences
