Good Time

Sail Date: October 22, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

Even though we had Hurricane Sandy pushing us back we still had a good time. Upset that we missed Coca Cay but next time we will get to see it hopefully. This was our first cruise and we will definately go again. Was nice to sail on the Monarch since they are retiring it out of our port in April.

Pros: The Staff

Cons: The weather

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED) 221? Yes!

Ship Quality
The ship was very clean and the rooms nice
Food and Dining
The buffets were awesome. Dining room left something to be desired. Only ate there one night.
Cabin / Stateroom
Stateroom was better than I expected. Just like a hotel room and our guy was really good.
Service and Staff
Everyone on the ship was friendly. Our stateroom person was the best. Always had everything ready for us every night.
Alot was canceled due to the weather but they always had something to do.
