Time to retire

Sail Date: October 29, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

Ship is dated and past it's prime, but the spirit and helpfulnes of the crew and the entertainment onboard made the cruise very enjoyable.

Pros: Good value

Cons: Windjammer food

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED)? Yes!

Ship Quality
Time to retire\, decor is dated and worn.
Food and Dining
Food in dining room was good\, but the Windjammer was awful. Food that should have Been hot was always cold. The food court was small and difficult to navigate at popular dining times. The selection of food was not good.
Cabin / Stateroom
Rooms are very small\, smallest we've ever had in more than 40 cruises. Ours was clean\, but very much in need of a makeover.
Service and Staff
Everyone we dealt with on this cruise was very helpful and would go out of their way to assist.
Entertainment
Singers and dancers were the best we've seen on any cruise. The entertainers brought onboard were excellent!
