Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

I was disappointed, i have been on at least 13 cruises, all different lines, and this was by far the worst one i went on. service was adequate not great. food was medioker, at best. up charge to have lobster in the main dinning room of 24.99. ran out of the wine i ordered pino grigio wine at dinner by the glass. sercice was ok waiter good , room steward good not great.

Pros: rest and relaxation

Cons: up charges on things like Lobster in the main dinning room.

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED)? No.

Ship Quality
maintance of ship fair\, walked down the stairs and the railings still had polish on them not finished cleaning by staff. bathrooms out of order.
Food and Dining
food choices were fair didn't finish some of the dishes not very good.
Cabin / Stateroom
room was what i expected\, no big deal clean ok.
Service and Staff
not one staff member went above and beyond
Entertainment
entertainment was the worst i have ever seen. singers and dancers fair at best\, costumes boring and unimaginative. singers not very good. shows boring.
