Friendly helpful staff. Older, smaller ship. Clean and comfortable.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Staff in dining venues were terrific. We chose our favorite time to eat. No interest in specialty dining\, just a way to add charges to cruisers.

3 out of 5
Staff revised schedule as needed\, given the bad weather\, and kept us entertained. Stage shows a little lackluster but comedian was good. Plenty of gameshow style entertainment\, trivia and karioke. Too much Bingo.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Entire staff friendly and helpful at all times.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Early morning coffee station\, pizza\, soft serve ice cream inaccesable for older\, incapacitated travelers. It was on the 12th deck with no elevator service! Steps very difficult for a lot of people.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Cabin was very small but staff kept it clean and comfortable. Amenities included an expensive (therefore unused) mini bar and bathroom soap.

Pros: Friendly\, helpful staff did an excellent job!

Cons: Rain & rough seas!!!!

Recommends Monarch of the Seas? Yes!
