It's like cruising with family. Many from Florida grab a quick cruise on the Monarch at the last moment just to get away. You always run into interesting folks and its easy to prepare for a 3 or 4 day cruise. We always enjoy a return to the Monarch. The crew was great this past weekend and the weather was great at Coco Cay. We'll be sorry to see her go.

Pros: Close to home\, friendly staff

Cons: Older ship\, small cabins

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED)? Yes!

Service and Staff
Great crew\, from top to bottom. Everyone goes out of their way to provide you with a memorable vacation.
Entertainment
Entertainment and activities are what you expect on a 3 or 4 day cruise. They're ok!
Ship Quality
Easy ship to get around.
Food and Dining
Food was as expected. Good variety. Friendly service in the dining room at both breakfast(open seating) and dinner.
Cabin / Stateroom
Small cabins.
