Monarch of the Seas Cruise

This review is not an over reaction but the truth. Horrible Ship, needs to stop sailing ASAP. Had Black Mold in our bathroom. Constantly working on issues outside our stateroom. Woke us up every morning with noises from maintenance. The smell of sewage was noticeable everywhere. Service in the main dining room was the worst we have had on the 5 cruises we have been on. On average we were in the dining room for 2+ hours due to slow service and when we asked for anything like a straw or more bread. The price of the cruise is cheap but there is no reason for the problems we had or the lack of customer service. Even in the bars the servers would pass us by and not even ask if we would like a drink which is how they actually make a profit on the ship, Ridiculous!!!

Pros: Cruise Director

Cons: Everything else\, and that is coming from a very positive person which is sad

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED)? No.

Ship Quality
Stop sailing this ship\, seriously
Food and Dining
Not good\, I am serious. The bacon and sausage was the only thing we enjoyed which we didn't eat alot of. The pizza was ok. Food was cold by the time it got to us at the main dining room.
Cabin / Stateroom
Black mold\, no room for your clothes in the inside state room. Had to stack my clothes on the floor.
Service and Staff
Our Room stewards were good! The Cruise Director was awesome. He deserves a better ship like Oasis or Allure because he was that good!! Servers were not good at all and that was being nice.
Entertainment
The Comic and Juggler was good\, everything else not so much
