Great relaxing cruise

Sail Date: August 01, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

We have only been on only one other cruise and that was a number of years ago. We found the entire staff, waiters, housekeeping, etc. to be very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The ship was spotless and meticulously maintained.

Pros: The entire staff was extremely attentive

Cons: Paying extra fro soft drinks\, bottled water Fresh OJ\, etc.

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED) 221? Yes!

Ship Quality
The ship size and layout was perfect for the number of passengers aboard. The staff was well organized and boarding and disembarking at ports of call was done with the up-most efficiency.
Food and Dining
The menu had a large selection to choose from. Quality was above average and was perfectly proportioned.
Cabin / Stateroom
Our stateroom was quite spacious\, well appointed\, we actually entertained three couples in our stateroom and had ample room for all six people. The bathroom was also spotless.
Service and Staff
Staff was very friendly\, courtesy and accommodating
We went to very few entertainment venues or activities. The few that we did attend were very enjoyable.
