Great Cruise

Sail Date: July 16, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

This is a great ship. We are going to miss her when they relocate her to Europe next year. We plan on booking one more cruise on her before she is relocated. While she is an older ship, she is still a elegant cruise ship. The crew on the Monarch are the one of the best group of people we have encountered on the many cruises we have taken. They are friendly, they are dedicated and very professional.

Pros: Outstanding crew. Great service.

Cons: Check in process. We stood in line for over an hour. Not enough check in staff on duty. Did not like new policy of not delivering purchased alcohol to your cabin.

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED)? Yes!
