Sail Date: March 01, 2012
Ship: Monarch of the Seas
Cabin Type: Inside
Traveled As: Family (older children)

Ship showing its age, the fact that most of the casino games still took quarters, and only paid in quarters was very annoying. We were looking for improvements over Carnival Cruises we've taken and didn't see any.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Very average, borderline boring and bland.

3 out of 5
First show was nothing more than a Dance Recitial, I was and still shocked, we left when it apparently was not going to improve. Other shows were really enjoyable.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff was extremely friendly and very good at remembering your names, impressive for a three night cruise.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Layout was just ok

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Smaller than some rooms I've had for same amount of people.

Pros: Service

Cons: Food and first show

Recommends Monarch of the Seas? No.
