Great Cruise for the Price

Sail Date: March 26, 2012

Room Type: Oceanview

For the price of this cruise it was worth it. We traveled with a first time cruiser and had a TON of fun. The service from the stateroom attendant to the waiters and bartenders were excellent. They were always asking if they could get us something and sometimes it was a little overwhelming when we DIDN'T want to drink. The formal dining food was lackluster we thought. They were charging for if you wanted lobster or surf and turf. Unlike the other people we spoke with on other cruises. The islands we visited were excellent! The shore excursion from , the snorkel and sail was AMAZING!

Pros: Service

Cons: The formal food

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED) 221? Yes!

Ship Quality
Ship was Huge, very clean.

3rd floor and 2nd floor did smell like salt water
Food and Dining
We thought the formal dining was "ok". Luckily they did have the Windjammer cafe which had plenty of food and good food to help out. Formal dining portions were small and they were charging for lobster and surf and turf
Cabin / Stateroom
Excellent stateroom attendant
Service and Staff
The service was the best part of this ship!
Lots of activities on going
