Bahamas Cruise

Sail Date: March 12, 2012

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

The ship was older and didn't have all of the things that we expected from the features listed on the Royal Carribean site. The boat was nice, very clean and the service was excellent. There always seemed to be enough room wherever we went, the pool, the buffet, the shows.

Pros: It never seemed crowded

Cons: the food

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED) 221? Yes!

Food and Dining
The food in the dining room was excellent. The buffets were just okay. Dining times were fine for us as were the menu options. The servers were excellent and very accomodating. They were fun and made a point to get to know us.
Cabin / Stateroom
We had a mini-suite with balcony and it was great. It was a bit dated but had everything we needed and was comfortable.
Ship Quality
Service and Staff
The staff was friendly, helpful and very pleasant to deal with.
