An Ok Cruise

Sail Date: March 09, 2012

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

Was not pleased with the food and activities. Did not like the fact that they kept showing commercials about their other ship that appeared to have lots of wonderful things to do on it, wanted to be their. The shops onboard were not unique; it did not offer things that I have not seen at home. The only shows that seemed interesting were the farewell show(s). Felt it was made for adults who drink a lot and tanned all day and for kids. Not for the average adult who likes to just have fun doing active things like bowling.

Pros: Service

Cons: Not enough activities or shows

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED) 221? No.

Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
Food and Dining
Could only eat salad, fruit, and hamburgers. The pizza was ok but did not have sauce on it.
Their was bingo, and corny game shows neither of which I was interested in, although I tried. Thought their would be more Vagas like shows or something similar. Cruised with them before and we had concerts and entertaining shows.
Service and Staff
Loved our attendant but did miss not having the towel animals.
