Nice Getaway

Sail Date: February 06, 2012

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Room Type: Oceanview

All of the ships crew were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Seemed to be more smoking people on the cruise than others I have been on. There was one no smoking gambling night, however, it would have been nice to have at least a smokeless hour or two in the casino each day. Would be nice to have no smoking cruises.

Pros: Climbing wall. Great service.

Cons: The food

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED) 221? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
Staterooms rather tight. Nice bathroom.
Ship Quality
Food and Dining
A few dishes were exceptional, including the soups and breads. Most was just average. The deserts were disappointing. Looked great but not much flavor.
Service and Staff
Nice folks tyring to please and make everyones stay pleasant. Did a great job.
