For the money you can't go wrong. A perfect opportunity to try cruising for the first time. You will get a chance to see what cruising is all about without spending a fortune, and then not liking it !

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food is midrange. Specialty restaurants expensive. Who wants to pay an extra $34.95 for surf and turf. Maybe they should consider a rebate on the main menu food you do not eat.

Shows need to be updated. When you see the same shows 2 years in a row, Well???? Also theater small, many broken seats, uncomfotable seats, pillars obstructing view and scheduling leaves empty performances and over full performances.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
All crew members seem to be happy with their jobs. Smiles do not look fake. Believe me I know !!!!

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Ship is in fairly good shape for it's age. minimum of stateroom categories is good again for first time cruisers

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Rooms are fairly small by today's standards. But are perfect for a short cruise.

Pros: cost

Cons: same old ports

Recommends Monarch of the Seas? Yes!
