For the money you can't go wrong. A perfect opportunity to try cruising for the first time. You will get a chance to see what cruising is all about without spending a fortune, and then not liking it !

Pros: cost

Cons: same old ports

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED)? Yes!

Entertainment
Shows need to be updated. When you see the same shows 2 years in a row, Well????
Also theater small, many broken seats, uncomfotable seats, pillars obstructing view and scheduling leaves empty performances and over full performances.
Ship Quality
Ship is in fairly good shape for it's age. minimum of stateroom categories is good again for first time cruisers
Food and Dining
Food is midrange. Specialty restaurants expensive. Who wants to pay an extra $34.95 for surf and turf. Maybe they should consider a rebate on the main menu food you do not eat.
Cabin / Stateroom
Rooms are fairly small by today's standards. But are perfect for a short cruise.
Service and Staff
All crew members seem to be happy with their jobs. Smiles do not look fake. Believe me I know !!!!
