My First Cruise

Sail Date: January 23, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The room was great, coming back to see how the attendant made up the towels were great. Being my first cruise everything was great. The ship was big enough to get around but not too big as I couldn't find things.

Pros: The different types of food, the friendliness of the staff, our asst waiter, and the ship

Cons: the meat

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED)? Yes!

Food and Dining
The meat was very tough but everything else was awesome
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
Was always very clean and neat when we came back in after a day out.
Service and Staff
Our asst. waiter Rohit went above and beyond working. We never had an empty glass off water, tea, or coffee. He was very friendly and very nice.
Entertainment
The shows were awesome.
